In the past two decades, Anwar Fahud has successfully completed contracts with Oil & Gas clients like Petroleum Development of Oman (PDO), OQ/OGC, Special Technical Services (STS), Larsen & Toubro Electromech (L&T), Galfar Engineering & Contracting SAOG, Occidental Oman Gas LLC (OXY), as well as other Civil Works with its major clients like the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Ministry of the Interior, and other.

Anwar Fahud’s implementation strategies for completing long-term contracts are centered on
transparency, collaboration, and adaptability. It places great emphasis on establishing clear
communication channels, building strong relationships with clients, and being able to adjust to
changing project demands. These practices have enabled this enterprise to consistently meet
project goals and exceed client expectations.

  • Surveying: Conducting surveys and measurements of the land to determine the alignment and levels of the road.
  • Geotechnical Investigation: Assessing the soil and rock conditions along the road route to determine the appropriate foundation and slope stability measures.
  • Road Design: Creating detailed engineering plans for the road, including alignment, cross-sections, and drainage systems.
  • Earthwork: Excavation, filling, and grading of the roadbed to achieve the desired alignment and slope.
  • Clearing and Grubbing: Removing trees, vegetation, and other obstructions from the road right-of-way.
  • Subgrade Preparation: Preparing the natural soil or subgrade by compacting and leveling it to provide a stable foundation for the road.
  • Drainage Installation: Constructing various drainage systems, such as culverts, storm water drains, and ditches, to manage water runoff from the road.
  • Pavement Construction: Building the layers of the road surface, including sub-base, base course, and wearing course, using materials like gravel, crushed stone, asphalt
    or concrete.
  • Bridge and Culvert Construction: Building bridges and culverts at locations where roads intersect with water bodies, railway tracks, or other obstacles.
  • Traffic Control: Installing temporary traffic signs, signals, and barriers to ensure safety during construction and implementing traffic management plans.
  • Road Markings and Signage: Applying paint or thermoplastic markings on the road surface and installing traffic signs, signals, and other road signage.
  • Street Lighting: Installing street lights along the road for better visibility and safety during nighttime.
  • Landscaping: Planting trees, shrubs, and grass, and beautifying the roadside areas with aesthetic elements.
  • Erosion Control: Implementing erosion control measures, such as retaining walls, gabions, and erosion control blankets, to prevent soil erosion.
  • Road Maintenance: Conducting routine maintenance activities, including patching, resurfacing, and repairing the road surface and associated infrastructure

OUR FACILITIES

  • Head Office: A Fully functional Head Office is located in the Commercial District of Ghala, Al Maaridh Street in Muscat.
  • Regional Office: Our Well-established Regional Office is at Fahud. It serves the projects in Oil & Gas concessions in and around Fahd Base.
  • Employee Accommodation: A PDO-approved Employee Accommodation is at Awaifiya near Fahud (41 Kms from Fahd Base) the facility can accommodate a total of 230 persons and comprises of mess halls for senior and junior staff, recreational facilities, laundry service.
  • Health Care & Medical Facility: A Fully-stocked clinic with qualified and experienced medic to cater cases received in camp. Well-maintained ambulance is also attached to the clinic.
  • Heavy Machinery Maintenance Facility: A Modern and Upscale Workshop are available at Awaifiya near our Worker’s Accommodation to maintain our fleet of 100 plus Plant & Equipment’s.
